Explore Tidepools

You don't have to be a kid to enjoy searching for hermit crabs, small fish, clams, and other marine life. You just have to let yourself access your inner child. Feel free to gove yourself a booty break and hop off to explore a little bit.

Sometimes, We Find Cool Things

Like this vertebrae (spine bone) from a whale that was sitting on the beach. Other times, we might find horseshoe crabs, see harbor seals in Cape Cod Bay.

A Unique Geology

The Brewster Flats

On the bicep of Cape Cod is a vast tidal landscape shaped over thousands of years by glacial retreat and coastal processes. Formed from sediments left behind by the Laurentide Ice Sheet, these expansive sand and mud flats are sculpted daily by some of the largest tidal ranges on the East Coast. At low tide, rippled sandbars, tidal pools, and winding channels emerge, revealing a dynamic ecosystem constantly reshaped by wind, waves, and currents.

For a brief window each day at low tide, Cape Cod exposes its massive arm and offers up all the beach we need to feel the wind on our faces and ride along the water's edge.

What Our Adventurers Are Saying

This was a fun excursion. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour/ride. Greg was fun, knowledgeable, easy to communicate with beforehand and very accommodating. Fun way to see the Cape flats and oyster beds. Beautiful day and fun guide. I would highly recommend this fat tire bike tour. Thank you, Greg!

Gregg was a fantastic host! My girlfriend and I had never ridden bikes on the beach, or ridden fat tire bikes at all, and this was the BEST way to do it for the first time! The beach was beautiful, and learning about the oyster beds was really cool too 🙂 Such a fun thing to do while in the Cape!

Gregg went above and beyond what can be reasonably expected of an experience host to ensure the entire party had a good time. He ensured the experience involved a degree of education around oyster farming/tide flats, exercise with the bikes and opportunities for pictures. He strategically timed the ride to end around sunset which was a nice bonus! I can’t recommend this listing strongly enough!

Gregg was knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and wildlife. Great opportunity to see the flats in a different way and splash about. He takes pictures and videos as well!
